East Wuxi Interchange of Shanghai-Nanjing Highway was put into use in the afternoon of August 1. It signifies the most important highway in Wuxi city is used. Vehicles can directly enter the arterial road of Wuxi-Tai Lake Road.

Secretary Gao Zhiding of Wuxi introduced that at present, East Wuxi Interchange has become the one of biggest interchanges on Shanghai-Nanjing Highway.

A reporter learned that at present, nearly 80% of sections of Wuxi section of Shanghai-Nanjing Highway have been carried out bidirectional and 8 roadways.
